[FR] Pour une analyse historique et comparative du vocabulaire celtique.
On verra successivement : I. La distinction entre mot hérité, et emprunt ; II. La détermination des couches d’emprunts d’après langues de départ et langues d’arrivée ; III. L’identification du fond lexical hérité ; IV. L’idée d’une «étymologie -histoire-des-mots» du proto-celtique. Dans la détermination du fond hérité, on a entrepris de différencier chronologiquement les isogloses lexicales (causées par des contacts récents, ou anciens, ou par un héritage commun de l’indo-européen). Le processus de reconstruction implique une série de recherches particulières, entre autres : 1. une analyse historique des synonymes ; 2. la reconstruction des formations préhistoriques et des additions apophoniques ; 3. la détermination du rapport entre préposition / postposition et préverbe / préfixe ; 4. l’analyse des syntagmes issus de l’univerbation ; 5. le supplétisme ; 6. la sémantique ; 7. la déduction de lexèmes non attestés, en protoceltique ou en celtique insulaire ; 8. l’évaluation des isogloses unissant le celtique à l’indo-européen oriental.
[EN] The concept of a historical and comparative analysis of the Celtic lexicon.
Successively : I. distinguishing inherited, and loan words ; II. determining loan-words strata according to provenience languages and destination languages ; III. identifying the inherited lexical stock ; IV. the concept of «étymologie -histoire-des-mots » for Proto-Celtic. In determining the inherited stock, it is necessary to distinguish chronologically between the lexical isoglosses (caused by a common IE inheritance, or by early or recent contacts). The reconstruction process implies a range of particular studies, e. g. : 1. an historical analysis of synonyms ; 2. a reconstruction of prehistorical stem-formations and apophonie additions ; 3. determination of the relation between preposition / postposition and preverb / prefix ; 4. an analysis of the syntagma produced by univerbation ; 5. suppletism ; 6. semantics ; 7. deduction of unattested lexemes, in Proto-Celtic or in Insular Celtic ; 8. evaluation of the isoglosses uniting Celtic with Eastern Indo-european.
